this is syncrhonet bbs running 3.14b with lots of ansi art from beginning to end, lots of subs to access to read and post, configured to work under dovenet. The bbs connects to the main headquarters of Synchronet BBS via telnet and downloads all messages posted via chain of other BBS creating an environment of endless good reading material, this board is up and active and located in Miami, FL.

Okay, well...let me jusy say that i still have this "Synchronet Board" up and online! haven't really seen any new activity like new users or anything, except what is posted daily via DoveNet, messages posted throughout the networks of other Synchronet and non Synchronet Bulletin Boards. There are quite a large number of other boards to telnet into, mine being one of them and remaining online since June, 2008.

So does anyone wanna give it a try?? :)

for the best graphical effect when it comes down to telnetting into a Synchronet BBS, is to download the Synchronet Telnet client, the best when it comes down to displayig the ansi graphics 100%.

Yep, The Synchronet BBS will be down Temporarily due to a hardware failure on the machine it was hosted on. Till then it should be back online sometime around 2010, preferably on a netbook.
