Currently MultiChat V1.X is available for people to try out. If you're interested, email MCSSupport@ndos.net.

I am only really doing bug fixes on the current version for the time being as I am working on a total re-write (V2.X) in a modern language (the old version is 10 year old source code). So once I get the basic version up to compatible with the older 1.X I'll be accepting ideas for new features.

Benefits of the re-write:
Modern database files instead of older un-structured data files
Multi-Threaded (each line gets their own thread) instead of single-thread for entire program
   Easier code management
Future versions will be available in 32 or 64 bit instead of only 32 bit
Better compatibility with future versions of the Windows OS

Programmers:
If you would be interested in developing a client side package for a non-Windows OS, contact me. I am developing the Windows client simultaneously with the server, but I'd be more than happy to share the client/server protocol with you so that you can help me support multiple OS's.

I have the basic chat engine for the new version built. Works with up to 32 simultaneous connections without any problems.. Things progress well :)
